  Learn what you need before integrating a TapMind SDK, including a mediation
  account, existing ad units, the Google Mobile Ads SDK setup, and the values

Before integrating any TapMind SDK, make sure you have:

- A mediation account with the partner you're integrating (AdMob, GAM, AppLovin MAX, or Unity LevelPlay).
- An ad unit already created in that platform - TapMind targets your existing ad units.
- The Google Mobile Ads (GMA) SDK integrated in your app, with its app-ID key set - `com.google.android.gms.ads.APPLICATION_ID` in `AndroidManifest.xml` (Android) or `GADApplicationIdentifier` in `Info.plist` (iOS). TapMind's adapters run on top of the GMA SDK, which crashes on launch without it. Any app already serving Google ads has this set - see [Troubleshooting](https://resources.jamdesk.app/reference/troubleshooting#app-crashes-on-launch) if the app crashes on init.
- The Google Mobile Ads (GMA) Next-Gen SDK integrated and explicitly initialized in your app. Unlike the legacy SDK, you must explicitly call `MobileAds.initialize()` on a background thread and pass your App ID programmatically before TapMind's adapters can run. (Note: If you are using the Google UMP SDK for consent, you must also keep your App ID defined in `AndroidManifest.xml` or `Info.plist`).
- Your TapMind values, provided by your account manager (see the split below).

## What TapMind provides

Your account manager provides the values below. Enter each exactly as given - `placementName`, `placementcode`, and the class name / network key are case-sensitive, exact-match strings, and a single wrong character causes silent no-fill with no error message.

### Static SDK values (from the Class & Network Key Registry)

Same for every publisher:

- Adapter class name (or LevelPlay network key) - exact string

### Your account values (from your account manager)

- placementName - case-sensitive, exact match
- placementcode - case-sensitive, exact match
- eCPM / rate - the value to configure in your waterfall

<Info>
Single source of truth: adapter class names and LevelPlay network keys live in the [Class & Network Key Registry](https://resources.jamdesk.app/reference/class-network-key-registry). Your `placementName`, `placementcode`, and eCPM / rate come directly from your account manager - not the Registry.
